collectively + individually, we are
under-sex'd
under-touch'd
under-practice'd
we're hungry for it to be different.
so we made the thing we felt was most needed.
Sex Ed: Somatic Sexual Wellness Workshops in NYC.
we're in a loneliness epidemic — and a sex drought.
30% of 18–34 year olds say they're lonely every day or several times a week.
1 in 4 young adults reports having no sex at all in the past year.
American adults went from 55% having sex weekly in 1990 to just 37% in 2024.
we're deeply interested in how we find a path back - to our bodies, and to each other.
because we're pair bonding herd animals
wired for connection and belonging.
the offering.
you're invited to a winter educational series in NYC, taught by a team of facilitators who have a masters degree (or higher) in psychology, therapy and/or sexual health. it will bring you into contact with the innate wisdom of your body, with a goal to activate awareness of your erotic aliveness.
each session will include:
- 101 education — the what, why, how
- embodied practice
- tools to take off the mat + into the world
what these spaces are not
we are not inviting play, or any kind of orgiastic experiencing.
in every space — we will ask that attendees remain fully clothed at all times.
we're asking that you hold your own + others' boundaries as sacred. if/when touch is introduced, we'll be offering space to consent.
Who these spaces are designed for, or not designed for ⇒
if you are navigating acute, chronic, complex, developmental or sexual trauma — please carefully consider if these spaces are right for you. while it's true that on any given night, the facilitator in the room might be a trauma-informed therapist — these spaces are not designed for 1:1 therapeutic support, nor are they designed to be spaces to actively process past trauma.
