So what's the Feels all about?

‘The Feels’ started as a live event back in 2022.
a room full of singles who were willing to try something different - to unlock tools for better relating, experience a more thoughtful way of dating, and connect with a values-aligned community.

what we discovered in that room kept leading us somewhere deeper. We’ve built a movement, based on need + feedback; we now run coaching + matchmaking programs, retreats, online education, whatsapp communities of thousands of people.

This work believes that better relating is possible – and we’ve found a group of people who are ready to put that into action.

If you’re reading this - perhaps you are too ;)

Events

'The feels', our flagship offering, is a 3-hour facilitated evening for singles built around somatic awareness, mindfulness, and present moment connection.

Matchmaking + Coaching

a personal coaching journey through your patterns in love, with the option to be introduced to people who're equally interested in high fidelity relating.

Online Education

tools and frameworks for better relating, available whenever you're ready to go deeper.

Singles Retreats

an immersive weekend that'll put you into direct practice with fellow attendees, and leave you with a group of fellow travellers who are very likely to remain in your life for a long time to come.

the feels format was developed in partnership with Columbia University's Spirit Mind Body Institute and is grounded in four bodies of research: somatic awareness, mindfulness, nonviolent communication, and group relations theory. across all of it runs a single belief: when you're grounded in your body and present in the moment, that's when real connection becomes possible. if you're curious about the scholars, the research, and the thinking that shaped all of this, download our White Paper to learn more.

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING

"I've avoided the world of dating my whole adult life, but am ready to change that. This was my first real attempt. It was great way to jump right in."

Past Participant, NYC

"I like the way in which there were deeper conversations other than the standard surface level questions. It made people think of not only how to look inside themselves but also how to listen and be attentive in the moment."

Past Participant, NYC

"Intimate, expansive, deep."

Past Participant, NYC

"Even though I didn't feel like I met someone I could contact after the event to potentially date, I left feeling hopeful that there are people out there who are willing to be fully engaged and invested in a partner. That was refreshing after so many disappointing interactions in my recent past."

Past Participant, NYC

"The prompts felt very deep and personal. I was surprised to find myself opening up so quickly."

Past Participant, NYC

"The flow of events was truly wonderful. The whole evening felt safe, fun & like a creative way to meet other people."

Past Participant, NYC

Laura Adery, PhD is a licensed clinical psychologist providing trauma-informed facilitation, education and evidence-based care, with a focus on supporting people in cultivating self-alignment, honest expression and meaningful connection. She brings a grounded, emotionally attuned presence to the spaces she holds, creating inclusive containers that invite vulnerability with clarity, safety, and self-trust. As Director of Clinical Services and Training for an early-intervention program within the UCLA academic medical setting, she leads clinical care and training initiatives with a sensitivity to the smallest signals that reflect shifts in identity, relational safety, and meaningful human connection.
