Laura Adery
Laura Adery, PhD is a licensed clinical psychologist providing trauma-informed facilitation, education and evidence-based care, with a focus on supporting people in cultivating self-alignment, honest expression and meaningful connection. She brings a grounded, emotionally attuned presence to the spaces she holds, creating inclusive containers that invite vulnerability with clarity, safety, and self-trust. As Director of Clinical Services and Training for an early-intervention program within the UCLA academic medical setting, she leads clinical care and training initiatives with a sensitivity to the smallest signals that reflect shifts in identity, relational safety, and meaningful human connection. Her work integrates deep psychological insight with practical relational skills, supporting individuals and groups in navigating intimacy, emotional resilience, and change as it unfolds. Grounded in the science of neuroplasticity, she holds a deep belief that the skills of better relating are buildable- and that when people feel safe enough to be real, connection follows. Laura is a queer woman, surfer, musician and nature lover who trusts that embodiment, presence and play are essential companions to depth and growth.
