Accessibility

The space we’re currently using in NYC is on the ground floor but requires walking up 3 stairs to the entry, with no elevator available, so it is not ADA accessible. While our venues in other cities are ADA accessible, the event involves multiple transitions between sitting and standing, with one exercise taking place on the ground. If you have any questions or need specific accommodations, please reach out to support@catchthefeels.co before purchasing your ticket.

Code of Conduct

‘The feels’ is designed to - first and foremost - connect you with you. From there, it's an invitation to be in connection with fellow participants. We do not judge our success based on whether you match / vibe / go home with / end up dating someone.

Instead - if you leave the experience feeling armed with new tools, feeling awake to new possibilities, feeling aware of yourself in a new way - AMAZING.

Along the way - we ask that you abide by a code, a set of agreements, the below asks. These are/were developed to ensure as much comfort and safety, as is possible. Hold, Tune into + be respectful of boundaries - your own, and others: You’re going to be directed - multiple times - to tune into your ‘yes’ and ‘no’ - please do, and please communicate and operate from that place. As others attempt to define theirs - support them. Acknowledge them. Hold them.

Lead with Respect: assume the best. Show up as you’d want to be shown up for. Operate with kindness and consideration and empathy as your guide. Insulting behavior towards others based on their personal characteristics is strictly prohibited. We do not tolerate any form of mistreatment or discrimination based on age, ethnicity, race, gender, body shape, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or any other personal attribute.

Stay aware of signals: While flirting and connecting are a part of ‘The Feels’, please be mindful + thoughtful of others’ personal space. Any unwanted harassment - asking someone repeatedly for their number, engaging in unwanted physical contact, persistently following someone - is not allowed.

Uphold Consent:

Throughout the formatted part of the event - you’ll be directed to ask for and give consent. Please hold tight to your own ‘yes’ and ‘no’ - and respect your partner’s. After the formatted part - if you’re further engaging someone physically, verbally, emotionally - please make sure you’ve got their consent.

Stay Present: the facilitated part of ‘The Feels’ is an opportunity to connect with others in the here and now. Avoid talk of future plans or commitments, as the primary focus should be on the current interaction.

Practice Radical Responsibility: we ask that you take full responsibility for your experience: the format can awaken wounds, sensitivities, shadows and parts that might be hard to see reflected. Please use the tools, techniques and philosophies being offered to navigate — and please avoid going into projection.
